SKI TOUR Hochfirst 3400m

Length:

1 day

Difficulty:

Participants

1-3 Persons

A challenging high-altitude tour leads to an aesthetically shaped summit in the Gurgler Kamm. The extremely steep upper north-western flank and the challenging ascent from Gaisbergferner to Hochfirstferner require a very solid hairpin bend technique. The tour offers fantastic views of the Gaisbergferner with its hanging glacier, the Pfelderer Valley and the surrounding three-thousand-metre peaks of the Ötztal Alps – a real highlight!

TIP:
By using both sections of the Hohe Mut cable car, we can save ourselves around 450 metres of ascent and instead start the day with a descent of 200 metres.

From Obergurgl to the summit: approx. 5-6 hours
From the Hohe Mut mountain station to the summit: approx. 4 hours
