This fantastic ski tour requires an experienced ski mountaineer and safe conditions with stable weather. Again and again, magnificent views of the other Ötztal ice giants and the Italian mountains. Impressive views down into the Pfelder valley.
Ascent via the Rotmoosjoch and the Planferner or via the steep Wasserfallferner, depending on conditions. Solid kick turn technique is absolutely necessary on both routes.
Impressive dream descent in good conditions via the Wasserfallferner.

With the help of the Hohe Mut cable car, the ascent can be shortened by quite a bit - saving 300 hm and approx. 2 hours of walking time!
