SKI TOUR Granatenkogel 3304m

Length:

1 day

Difficulty:

Participants

1-3 Persons

Fantastic high alpine ski tour to the shapely summit with magnificent views to the other numerous ice giants of the Ötztal Alps in the Gurgler Kamm. You can see almost the whole touring area west of Obergurgl. Great steep descent from the summit in safe conditions for good and experienced skiers.

TIP:
By using the Festkogelbahn we save a good 500hm of piste ascent and start the day with a 200hm descent.

TIP 2:
For lovers of steep descents, a 400m high couloir into the Ferwalltal can be taken along by using the Festkogelbahn and the Plattachbahn by a short walk. This gives a total of a good 2000hm descent with 1000hm ascent.

Walking time:
Obergurgl - summit: approx. 5h
Festkogelbahn mountain station - summit: approx. 3.5h

Altitude difference:
Obergurgl - summit: 1400 hm
Festkogelbahn mountain station - summit: 950 hm
