The Eiskögele is the shortest ski tour from the Langtalereckhütte. Ascent along the hut access route to the Langtalereckhütte and after a cosy and enjoyable overnight stay, ascent through the Innere Hochebenkar to the Eiskögele with descent into the Rotmoostal - a great round tour with fantastic views from the summit, plus great ski slopes with mostly calm powder on the descent.

Duration:
2-day

Day 1, option 1:
Independent ascent from Obergurgl via the Schönwieshütte and the Gurgler Almhütte to the Langtalereckhütte.
The ascent begins along the ski pistes and continues on the prepared path to the Schönwieshütte. Then follow the piste groomer track marked with poles to the Langtalereckhütte.
Note: Although the trail to the hut from the Schönwieshütte is marked and often groomed, it is not secured against alpine dangers such as avalanches.
It is essential to enquire about the current conditions with us before starting!
The meeting with the mountain guide takes place for dinner at the hut.

Day 1, option 2:
We are also happy to accompany you from Obergurgl. Meeting point is at noon in Obergurgl.
Additional costs: from €250 (for up to 4 people).

Day 1, option 3:
Would you like to climb a summit on the first day?
The Hangerer is practically on the way, and crossing the Eisseekögele would also be an interesting alternative.
Additional costs: from €400 (depending on the number of people).

Day 2:
Ascent over open slopes into the Inner Hochebenkar and steeply up to the saddle between the Hochebenkamm and Eiskögele. Ski depot and over the broad ridge, later over a narrow ridge to the summit cross with marvellous panoramic views.
Descent to the ski depot and either along the ascent route back to the hut or via north-facing dream slopes into Rotmoostal and via Schönwieshütte back to Obergurgl.
