1-4 Persons

Difficult and racy ski peak, in the right conditions a wonderful steep descent directly to the Gurgler Ferner! From a skiing point of view certainly the most rewarding peak in the touring area of the Langtalereckhütte. Exciting morning start through the Gurgler Gorge. From the summit great views to the touring mountains of the rear Ötztal, to the Texelgruppe and wonderful views southwards to the extensive Gurgler Ferner with the Hochwilde as the crowning glory.

Duration:
2-day

Day 1, Variant 1:
Independent ascent from Obergurgl via the Schönwieshütte and the Gurgler Almhütte to the Langtalereckhütte.
The approach is first along the ski slopes and then follows the prepared path to the Schönwieshütte. Continue along the piste bully track marked with poles to the Langtalereck hut.
Attention: The hut approach from the Schönwieshütte is marked with poles and mostly prepared but not secured against alpine dangers (avalanches).
Please be sure to check the current situation with us before setting off!
Meeting point with the mountain guide for evening reading at the hut.
