Snowshoeing in the Oetz Valley

Delve into a fascinating winter wonderland

Already back in the Stone Age, hunters and gatherers noticed that while wearing snowshoes in the deep snow, the journey was smoother and easier. Since the mid-1990s, this trend has become a new sport and is the perfect alternative to classic ski touring.

This sport benefits people who can’t or don’t want to ski, but still want the alpine experience. Snowshoeing through the deep snow allows you to see the winter wonderland world through different eyes. Winter is a special nature experience for both young and old. Whoever can walk, can definitely snowshoe.
